¡What is a WALL WETTER?
|
| A WALL WETTER is a simple but effective system
to be utilized a heat transfer area in a
tank.
In case of a batch evaporation there used
to be a problem of decreasing of vaporization
speed proportional to lowering the liquid
level in a tank. Our answer is the
WALL WETTER.
The WALL WETTER is simply welling up liquid
to the top of the heat transfer area on the
wall or coils in the tank. Then
the heat transfer area could be fully utilized
as long as the system would be working.
In case of a batch evaporation the process
time could be reduced by half.

Wall Wetter for laboratory use
It is possible to insert into a flask or
remove through a universal nozzle shaped
like an umbrella. The function
itself is almost the same as a rotary evaporator.
However, it is much safer than a rotary evaporator
as the Wall Wetter rotates in a flask. |

Example of a large evaporator
The capacity of the largest Wall Wetter system
is 40 cubic meter. To allow full
use of the heating surface in a tank at any
time during evaporation Even
200L liquid in the tank could be spread onto
the heating surface. It is possible
to shorten the evaporation time drastically. |

Example for a batch distillation
A constant amount of vapor from the tank
gives the most efficient condition of column
operation. Enough reflux results
better products. A Wall Wetter
gives an optimal operation throughout the
